This is something we have to research for a perfect widescreen hack. Perhaps their position is hardcoded in the EXE.

At least they don't move if their parents in the shell are moved. The problem is that they don't want to be moved. The optimal solution would be not to move the UI elements around, but those 3D overlays instead. And this is what's in the widescreen Z2F, so 3D and 2D UI elements match up at least, even if at unfamiliar positions, and the real 3D part renders at the correct aspect ratio. So here comes step three, where we modify the layout shell XML to fit the 3D overlay elements. They retain their old position, while the UI adapts to the new screen. If we modify only the camera XML, we get something I have not pictured, where the 3D UI elements like zoo fame stars and animal selector do not appear where they're supposed to be, but closer to the middle. You can also see it was not supposed to be rendered like that because the shadow fades out in that area - look at the zoowall. This gives us the correct aspect ratio back, you will notice that you can overlay image one onto image three, and image 3 contains additional view at the sides.

If it helps, this is my setup for my PC from Speccyġ6.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 803MHz (11-11-11-30) I wondered if anyone has had a similar issue with zoo tycoon or could help me out? Its a shame because I was looking to subscribe to this game pass. Also given that both my PC and laptop run any other game absolutely fine. Given it seems to happen across both my PCs which have different graphics cards, motherboards etc, the common denominator seems to be the app itself. I then changed the nvidia settings so the game run on my integrated graphics card and although the FPS was low, windows didn't crash. I boot up zoo tycoon and it crashes almost instantly. I then thought id try on my laptop (which also has a dedicated graphics card), to make sure it was just specific to my PC. So this is what I’d suggest: - A pair of Bengal tigers (70-square exhibit), and a pair of saltwater crocodiles (40-square exhibit). I therefore tried resetting windows, updating graphics drivers, running diagnostics and I still get the issue every so often. The latter four objectives guarantee that at least four of the species have to be marine animals, but that means you can also use a pair of Zoo Tycoon animal species if you want.
My inkling is it something to do with the graphics drivers. The entire PC just crashes and I have to turn it back on. I noticed the game crashes every so often (once every half an hour roughly).
